Why? Latin word meaning “I have arrived. I am here.” Adsum signals a state of complete availability, willingness to serve, or readiness to answer a calling

Step 2 With a soft gaze, look slowly around the room.

Find:

• 3 things you can see
• 2 things you can hear
• 1 sensation in your body

Step 3 One hand at the back of your neck. One hand over your heart.

Inhale slowly for 4 counts.

Exhale slowly for 6 counts.

Say:

My body is safe.

Step 3 With your eyes closed:

I am truth. I am activated & attuned. I am.

Adsum.

HEART = the present self.

The part of the body that orients to connection, truth, and relational safety.

When the hand rests here, the system receives:

“I am present with myself.”

It activates warmth, slows the breath, and begins to shift the body out of vigilance.

But on its own… the heart can still be overridden by old patterning.

Hand on Back of Neck

The back of the neck is a threshold point in the nervous system.

It relates to:

• the brainstem (survival signaling) • the vagus nerve pathways (safety vs threat detection) • the reflex to turn, brace, or protect

When you place your hand there, you are interrupting the body’s backward-looking vigilance. The part of you that is scanning for:

“What happened before? Where did this go wrong last time?”

Your hand affirms:

“You are safe. Stay present.”

Together, touching the heart and back of neck signal:

“I am here, I am safe and I’m ready to receive.”

Physically, you are holding both ends of the loop:

• the emotional center (heart) • the survival memory pathway (neck)

You are bridging them.

Now, when you hear insight about your astrology, you hear your astrology from the present, not past patterns.

Sagittarius can bring big feelings, big truth, and big vision, and Antares can turn the volume all the way up.

But Saturn in Aries brings structure, restraint and self-leadership.

Can you act with courage without becoming reckless?

Antares carries fire, force, courage, ambition and the instinct to survive at all costs. Ancient astrologers connected this star with warriors, rebels and folks willing to walk through destruction in order to become something new.

So under this Full Moon, the Sagittarius themes of truth, belief, freedom, and vision are turned all the way up.

You may feel a stronger urge to say the thing, make the move, burn the old story down, or fight for what you believe in.

Used well, Antares can bring brave breakthroughs, fierce clarity and powerful reinvention.

But if the nervous system is dysregulated, this same energy can become impulsive, reactive, obsessive, or unnecessarily dramatic.

The medicine is not to suppress the fire.

The medicine is to let the fire serve the truth, not the wound.

Sekhmet’s Sacred Fire

There is a fierce priestess current moving through this lunation, with asteroid Sekhmet square to the Full Moon.

Sekhmet, the lion-headed goddess of Egypt, is solar fire. Sacred rage. Protection. Purification.

She teaches us how to dance with anger and express boundaries clearly, directly. Not negotiating what you know is a “NO.”

If Antares intensifies the fire, Sekhmet asks what the fire is actually here to cleanse.

She may reveal where you have been too available, too accommodating, too willing to soften your truth so others can remain comfortable.

Saturn reminds us: power is trustworthy when it is embodied with responsibility.

Sekhmet reminds us: your fire was never the problem.
