My witchy journey, Day 1

Today I’ve decided to start with a daily Tarot pull.

I’m feeling nervous before this pull. My deck has a habit of bringing to light my hidden feelings or things that I am avoiding. I often ignore its advice (like how it told me to listen to my intuition) but I will be trying to make a conscious attempt to change this.

So for today, I have pulled The Queen of Swords upright, Ace of Pentacles upright, and The Eight of Wands upright.

I don’t know my tarot very well, if at all. But here’s what I think it means based off intuition? I’m thinking hard work, abundance, and letting go? I feel not sure but I also feel a nudge to trust myself so I guess we will see? Haha!

Queen of Swords

Clear thinking, maturity, independence, logic over emotion. Set boundaries and communicate honestly. Wisdom. So I guess it symbolizes someone who is confident in their logic. Someone more intellectual than emotional.

Ace of Pentacles

New opportunities, prosperity, and material manifestation. Start of a successful journey. New job or creative project. Perhaps its talking about starting this blog? haha

Eight of Wands

Rapid movement, swift action, and positive momentum. Obstacles clear, and answers arrive quickly. Quick changes, positive. This is the card that confused me the most when I saw it in this reading. I’m not sure what its referring to. Perhaps getting the idea for this blog and acting on it right away?

Looking back at what I believed the cards to mean and what they actually symbolized…I guess the only thing that matched was abundance haha. But combined, maybe it means that through hard word and a level head, this project will move quick. As long as I can let go of something…Maybe my insecurities or fear of being perceived? I guess we will see?
