One Momentum, Three Key Agendas: Bengkulu Prison Holds Oath Ceremony, Rank Promotion, and Awards for Outstanding Officers

Bengkulu — The Class IIA Bengkulu Correctional Institution held a meaningful integrated event consisting of an oath-taking ceremony, rank promotion, and the presentation of awards to outstanding officers. The entire series of activities took place solemnly and sequentially at the Tennis Court of Bengkulu Prison on Monday (April 13).

The event began with the oath-taking ceremony for managerial officials, namely the Head of Work Activities Section (Kasi Giatja) Iskandar Muda and the Head of Community Guidance and Care Subsection (Kasubsi Bimkemaswat) Muhammad Aris Kurniawan. The solemn procession was witnessed by a religious leader, emphasizing the commitment to integrity and responsibility in carrying out their duties.

Following this, a rank promotion ceremony was conducted for 19 civil servants (ASN) from the 2017 cohort, promoted from rank IIb to IIc. This promotion serves as recognition of their dedication, loyalty, and performance in carrying out correctional duties.

The event concluded with the presentation of awards by the Head of Bengkulu Prison, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, to outstanding officers. The awards were given to four members of the Public Relations team for their achievements during the January–March 2026 period, particularly in innovation, creativity, and effective public information dissemination.

In his remarks, the Head of Prison delivered both a firm message and motivation: “This momentum is not merely ceremonial, but a reminder that every mandate must be carried out with integrity, professionalism, and responsibility. I hope all officers continue to improve their performance, maintain solidarity, and contribute their best to the advancement of correctional services,” he stated.

This activity reflects Bengkulu Prison’s strong commitment to improving human resources quality, strengthening integrity, and appreciating high-performing correctional personnel.
