Rome, 2049. After decades of collapsing trust, culture-war exhaustion, and clerical scandal, the conclave elects a pope who understands that polished institutional respectability has become spiritually useless.

He takes the name Pope Sixtus Vicious and appears on the balcony in a white studded cassock, black boots, and a mitre edged like a mohawk.

His first declaration:

“The Church will no longer mistake obedience for holiness.”

The press calls him the Punk Pope. The Vatican calls it renewal.

His first encyclical: Pax Punkus. His motto: No gods but God. No masters but Christ. His reform program: repunks, not debunks.
