Andor: An Epilogue

Imagine for a moment Cassian Andor, Luthen, Mon Mothma, Bix, and the millions of ordinary, unsung heroes of the rebellion, making small sacrifices, and heroic efforts, all in the cause of freedom.

Now imagine after years of struggle, their crucial moment has finally come. One of their own finally has the Planet Killer in his sites.

Now imagine the horror in their faces as he turns off his targeting computer.

Imagine the apoplectic disbelief when instead, this young farm boy closes his eyes and fires, seemingly into nothingness — placing not only their years of suffering and loss, but also their very lives and futures into the hands of something they don’t understand.

Something without which, their years of sacrifice and tireless efforts would have come to nothing.

Without which, the Empire would have most assuredly won.

All those years of struggle, and still they narrowly prevailed-but for the silent intervention of an ancient essence, all but discarded and forgotten.

All for naught-but for the Force.
