At one point, I thought that burnout could only occur to individuals with long work hours or a stressful job. I thought of something dramatic, so that people would have to come to a halt.

I see that burnout can be much more silent!

May be able to grow slowly without anyone knowing. You still get up, go to work, get messages, cook supper, and smile at people. The exterior appears to be in good condition.

There’s a change within, inside.

So damn exhausted that nothing can chase out a hard day’s work. It takes quite a little motivation to get the appetite up for tiny chores. You never thought anything was going to bring back happiness to you. You are not broken, you’re not living.

This is the silent burner that many people have in their lives on a daily basis.

I believe it’s due to the fact that we don’t allow ourselves to rest very often. Over and over we say, “Just one more task. Just one more week. I’ll take it easy later.

Subsequently continues to move further away.

We live in a world in which there is a value placed on being busy that is equated to success. We are constantly on the go, on our phones, and busy with the next things to do, or worrying. When our bodies come to a halt, our minds keep on going.

Went on and on and on, and we feel empty.

The most challenging is that quiet burnout is not a phenomenon that is easy to explain. Your friends could see you coming daily to them and feel you’re doing okay. You might even ask yourself why you are so tired; there’s nothing wrong with you.

However, burnout doesn’t always occur as a result of one major occurrence.

Sometimes it’s because of being too weighed down by a lot of little worries for too long. It’s from neglecting one’s own needs to provide for other people’s needs. It’s a skill that is developed by constantly pushing yourself, but never taking a breath.

I have found out that it’s not always a big life change that is necessary for recovery.

It’s a matter of small decisions sometimes.

Getting to sleep earlier. Walking without a cell phone. Declining to do something when already committed to other activities. Being around individuals who help me relax rather than exhaust myself.

All these little moments remind me that it’s not a reward to be able to rest. It is essential tforeach and every individual.

Life is not a competition between people on who can be the busiest.

Take the day to rest and not feel guilty about it.

If you have felt groggy for a bit, go out on a limb for yourself. Do not have to show your value without being worn out.

The best we can do sometimes is just take a step back, listen to ourselves, a nd start taking care of ourselves, the person that we often forget.

That person is us.
