Stuff I Wish I Knew Before Playing Wuthering Waves

Alright so I’ve been playing WuWa for a while now and honestly I made some dumb mistakes early on. Figured I’d write this up in case it saves someone else the headache.

Pull planning is everything

I blew like 80 pulls on a banner right before Shorekeeper reran. Didn’t even want the character that much, just got bored and pulled. Then Shorekeeper came and I had nothing. Felt real smart.

Anyway I started checking upcoming banners here before pulling: wutzone.com/banners/ — not gonna let that happen again.

Support characters actually matter

I ran triple DPS for the longest time and wondered why my clear times sucked. Yeah. Turns out Verina and Shorekeeper aren’t optional if you want to push endgame content. Here’s a decent tier list if you want to see where everyone stands: wutzone.com/tier-list/

Codes expire stupid fast

Missed like 300 Astrite because I saw a code on reddit two days late. Now I just check wutzone.com/codes/ every now and then, they usually have the active ones up.

F2P math, roughly

You’re looking at maybe 50–70 pulls per patch if you do everything. Less if you’re casual. More if there’s a big event running. It adds up but you gotta be intentional about it — random pulling will leave you dry when a character you actually want shows up.
