Receiving a cat named Doraemon from my brother changed my life forever. That special gift sparked my love for animals, taught me compassion, and inspired me to care for every stray and pet with kindness and unconditional love

From a very young age, I always felt a special connection with animals. Cats, dogs, birds — every animal fascinated me in its own beautiful way. I loved watching them, learning about them, and understanding their emotions and behaviour.

Knowing how deeply I adored animals, my brother surprised me with the most unforgettable gift of my childhood — a cat named Doraemon. Bringing Doraemon home completely changed my life. He was not just a pet to me; he became my best friend, my comfort, and a part of my family.

I would spend hours reading about them, observing their behaviour, and learning how much love and care they truly need.

As I grew older, my love for animals only became stronger. I started paying attention to the stray cats and dogs around my neighbourhood, understanding their struggles and silently wishing every animal could receive the same love Doraemon gave me every day. I began feeding them, caring for them whenever possible, and seeing them not as strays, but as innocent souls deserving kindness and respect.Doraemon taught me that animals are far more than companions. They bring comfort during difficult times, happiness in ordinary moments, and unconditional love without asking for anything in return. Through him, I learned empathy, responsibility, and the true meaning of compassion.

Today, my love for animals continues to grow stronger with my beloved cat Elza, who fills my life with warmth and happiness every single day. Looking back, I realise that one small gift from my brother, a cat named Doraemon, became the beginning of a beautiful lifelong journey of love for animals.
