it’s the gold mixture and the intricate pattern
The gold hue, the intricate pattern, the use of brush strokes to create volume on the canvass. The allusion to lush foliage or mythic symbolism in almost each of his paintings, it is always a pleasure to visit Klimt’s work either intentionally, or by chance —. For me, personally, serendipity being a core theme of discovering/rediscovering Klimt, for instance, I once very appropriately chanced upon Klimt while at the Gold Coast, and at another time in New Yauk (when Klimt was exhibited as an immersive, larger than life experience) and at both instances accompanied by a rush of adrenaline and/or quiet gratitude for such beauty, on a mere mortal plane.
just looking at this scenary is refreshing
