ISKCON is a highly spiritual organization for many devotees. I got an opportunity to stay at ISKCON temple on Sri Rama Navami as I’m taking Bhagavad Gita classes in one of its folk residency. I and students who are taking Bhagavad Gita classes went to ISKCON temple yesterday at evening 5 pm only. They provided us a mini bus to the ISKCON temple.

There are more than 4 ISKCON temples in Hyderabad. I visited only 2 ISKCON temples and this is 3rd one which is in Attapur. After going to the temple, we went for darshan. It was really peaceful place. Then we went for Nagar Kirtan and later we took prashad at the ISKCON.

ISKCON Prabhus (All Male devotees are called as Prabhus) only provided us night stay at a hall. I woke up at 3:00 am on the Rama Navami because of my excitement 😀 for experiencing the early morning Mangal Aarti at 4:30 am. I went to ISKCON temple exactly at 4:20 then I asked a prabhu to keep the Tilak. That prabhu is just 16 years old and he is taking Bhagvat Gita classes from last 2 years old, that’s shows how youth are interested in spirituality. Then I attended Mangal Aarti, it’s really amazing experience for me. More than 100+ Prabhus participated in Mangal Aarti, even small Prabhus are also attended it.

After Aarti, I chanted 3 times with chanting beads ( Japa mala).

Then I had kheer as a prasad. Later I did seva at the food. Many devotees took the prasad. ISKCON is very famous for hygienic and tasty food so I had a lots of varities of food there.

In the evening, there was a grand Shobha Yatra of Ram and Sita in the palaquin. We all Prabhus danced well in the Shobha Yatra. It was really great spiritual experience, I had on Sri Rama Navami.
