A little learning is a dangerous thing; Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring. **Alexander Pope**
Britany stood on the cliff face and pondered her options.
Option 1: I could turn back but there was nothing there for me. I would be facing the option of getting married to someone that is twice my age. There is enormous pressure to “do the right thing”.
Option 2: I could go around to the bridge but I would have to pass the police station and my family is very powerful. They own the town and I would be dragged back to loveless marriage. Not a good option.
Option 3: I could jump and risk death. There is water and that would maybe catch me. That is my only option. We shall see what happens.
Brittany jumped the cliff face and hit water. She started swimming. All the sudden, a whale showed up and said,
Brittany had always been kind to animals. Her kindness gave her options.
“I will take you across to wherever you want to go.”.
Britany could have died but sometimes the only option is to jump to get the next phase in life.
Sometimes the sea is kind to you, sometimes the ocean can be a cruel master.
The whale will take her on an adventure that will put her on a path with the ocean that will take her to the ship that will be the next adventure of her lfe. Life with the ocean.
Sometimes risk is the worth the reward.
The belief that one’s own view of reality is the only reality is the most dangerous of all delusions. **Paul Watzlawick**
