Introduction
Hi, I’m Palani Velu R. After finishing my diploma in EC,I faced financial challenges and worked as a Sales Executive at Toyota to save some money. Once I had enough, I turned my attention back to my passion for cybersecurity and ethicalHacking,Then I started researching different training programs and A friend of mine referred me to Spidervella, I decided to check out their office. After talking with their team and learning about their program, I felt it was the right fit for me, so I signed up.
The Training at Hackersvella
Hackersvella’s program is split into five stages, each building on the last to cover all aspects of cybersecurity and ethical hacking.
1. Stage 1 — Learning Hardware & Networking
2. Stage 2 — Programming Skills for Cybersecurity
3. Stage 3 — Hacking with the Internet of Things (IoT)
4. Stage 4 — AI, ML, and Ethical Hacking
5. Stage 5 — Cyber Forensics & Bug Bounty Hunting
1. Stage 1 — Learning Hardware & Networking
The first stage is all about getting to grips with the basics of hardware and networking:
a. Understanding Hardware: We explored the different components of computers like CPUs, memory, storage, and peripherals. It was crucial for learning how to fix and troubleshoot hardware issues.
b. Networking Basics: We learned about IP addresses, network protocols, and the OSI model, which are foundational for any networking knowledge.
c. Network Devices: We looked at routers, switches, and firewalls to understand how they work in network setups.
d. Network Configuration: We practiced setting up and managing network settings, including troubleshooting network problems.
Before this training, my computer skills were pretty basic, just gaming and using Wi-Fi. Now, I can fix my laptop on my own without needing to go to a service center for routine repairs.

2. Stage 2 — Programming Skills for Cybersecurity
This stage is all about the programming languages you need for cybersecurity:
a. Python: It’s a versatile language great for scripting and automation. We used it to develop hacking tools and automate tasks.
b. HTML & JavaScript: Essential for web security, these languages helped me understand client-side vulnerabilities and perform web application security testing.
c. SQL: Important for dealing with databases and understanding SQL injection vulnerabilities.
d. Ruby: Known for its simplicity and productivity, especially with the Ruby on Rails framework, which is great for web development.
I used Python to create several hacking tools, which improved my practical skills. I also built my own website using HTML and JavaScript, which gave me hands-on experience in web development and security.

3. Stage 3 — Hacking with the Internet of Things (IoT)
In this stage, we dived into the world of IoT:
a. Devices and Sensors: We learned about IoT devices and the sensors they use to gather data.
b. Connectivity: We looked at how these devices connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other protocols.
c. Data Processing: We explored how data is processed, whether on the device or in the cloud, and how it’s used to make decisions.
d. Security: Securing IoT devices is crucial since they handle sensitive data.
I worked on projects like a Wi-Fi jammer and a smart lighting system that can be controlled remotely from a mobile phone. These projects involved understanding wireless communication and integrating software with electronics.
Hacking with the Internet of Things (IoT)
4. Stage 4 — AI, ML, and Ethical Hacking
This stage combines AI, machine learning (ML), and ethical hacking:
a. Ethical Hacking: We practiced penetration testing, social engineering, and using tools like Metasploit and Nmap to find and fix security vulnerabilities.
b. Data Science: We learned about collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data using Python, R, and other tools.
c. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: We explored AI and its applications, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
I developed a facial recognition system, using advanced techniques in computer vision and ML to improve security and user authentication.

5. Stage 5 — Cyber Forensics & Bug Bounty Hunting
The final stage focuses on cyber forensics and bug bounty hunting:
a. Cyber Forensics: We learned how to collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence for legal purposes.
b. Bug Bounty Hunting: We participated in bug bounty programs to find and report software vulnerabilities. This involved using tools for reconnaissance and exploit development.
I got involved in analyzing digital evidence and reporting vulnerabilities through bug bounty programs. These experiences helped me understand how to identify and address security issues effectively.

Conclusion
The training at SPIDERVELLA PVT,has been transformative for me. I’ve gone from basic computer knowledge to gaining a comprehensive skill set in cybersecurity. Each stage of the program has provided me with practical skills and deepened my understanding of different aspects of the field. I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned and continue growing in this dynamic and essential area of technology.
