“Is Delhi near or far?”,
“Is Delhi near or far?”,

When someone asks, “Is Delhi near or far?”, a human instinctively answers based on where they are. This isn’t just about geography. It’s a subtle, built-in awareness of self-location. The AI, however, doesn’t assume – it pauses to ask, “From where?” And in that very moment, it teaches us something profound: before you answer anything, you must know where you stand.
Awareness is the first step to any meaningful progress. Not just physical awareness, but emotional, psychological, spiritual awareness. Where am I? What is the state of my mind? Am I stuck in fear? Driven by ego? Lost in distraction?
Once this awareness dawns, the next force rises: Analysis. Why do I want to go to Delhi? What will it give me? What stands in my way? This is not a mechanical analysis – it is the divine spark of inquiry. The same spark that separates us from even the most intelligent animals. Apes have been taught hundreds of signs, they can answer, express, mimic – but they never ask. Not once. Not “what,” not “why,” not “how.”
This capacity to question is not merely cognitive – it is spiritual. It signals self-awareness, curiosity, and a longing to transcend the immediate. In our tradition, this is Ganesha – the one who removes obstacles after proper inquiry and reflection.
But even the best awareness and analysis are useless without the final step: Action. We know what to do, but we hesitate. Fear of failure, judgment, criticism. Here, Samatva becomes our anchor – equanimity in action. To act without craving success or fearing failure. This is Muruga, the warrior – calm, focused, unattached.
So the entire journey can be seen as:
Shiva – the stillness of Awareness
Ganesha – the clarity of Analysis
Muruga – the fearlessness of Action
Awareness | Analysis | Action
This is not just a path – it is the path. And like every meaningful journey, it begins with a simple question:
“From where?”
