Can muscle weakness also lead to backpain ?
“Hi! These days, back pain has become common, no matter what age you are.” Every second or third person experiences it. But why?. What can be the reason . Well there are a lot .
There are a lot of reason behind back pain like:
Poor Posture
Disc Degeneration
Disc Herniation etc .
However, “Interestingly, some people experience back pain even though tests show no issues with their spine.” So what could be the reason?.
A patient who is going through backpain for several months and tried everything to get rid of it and yet has no spine problems, still experience persistent pain .“Have you ever wondered what could be causing back pain even when there’s no problem with the spine?”
One common reason is Poor posture . Posture is something nobody care about . Poor posture is often overlooked. Many people don’t pay attention to how they hold their body. If your posture is not correct, it can also lead to back pain. Confused ?I tell you how :
Posture ? what it is ? Posture — how you hold you body against gravity . if you do not hold it in correct way then its a problem . The centre of posture is the pelvis, which plays a crucial role in keeping the body aligned. If your posture is poor, your body tries to compensate against gravity, which can cause discomfort or pain.
Now you wondering , Can pelvis decide your posture ? yes absolutely . reason ? Muscles. Muscles weakness can be the reason behind this .
Our core muscles weakness can lead to poor posture because they are the one who hold our pelvis correctly against gravity , like , think of your body like a swing held by two ropes. If one or both ropes are weak, the swing will tilt. Similarly, weak muscles around your pelvis can lead to back pain. Imbalances in your muscles can misalign your pelvis and cause back pain. When the muscles are strong, the pelvis stays centred ; when they are weak, its position shifts. “Of course, there can be other reasons for back pain, but muscle weakness is often an overlooked yet important factor.”
Pelvis alignment based on muscle strength:
- Weak back muscles: Pelvis tilts forward because strong abdominal muscles pull it.
- Weak abdominal muscles: Pelvis tilts backward because strong back muscles pull it.
So, imbalances in your muscles can misalign the pelvis and lead to back pain. Its all because of muscles . So strengthening the core muscles is also imp to avoid backpain . Keep your pelvis properly aligned
- Maintain good posture
- Reduce the risk of back pain
Remember: A strong core is key to a strong back!
