Transient Labs, in partnership with WalletConnect and the non-profit Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI), is proud to support the creation, minting, and distribution of the Soundwaves Collection — a one-of-a-kind bioacoustic NFT collection designed to capture the power of communication through the illustration of sound from one of the most complex communicative creatures in the animal kingdom — whales.

This collection debuts in celebration of Web3Inbox, enabling early users of the Web3Inbox app to ‘own’ a piece of the milestone launch. Designed by artist Daria Smakhtina, the complete collection is uniquely linked to ecological data (eco-data) from real-world sperm whales and humpback whales in the Caribbean, collected by the marine wildlife conservation organization AquaSearch and provided by SNI.

Split into four NFT categories, the Soundwaves Collection represents a significant milestone achievement for communication across Web3. All four categories host a set of unique artworks that vary in rarity based on different factors, including the uniqueness of the linked audio eco-data and the number of NFTs within the edition.
