Mainnet is Live: Tokenomics Breakdown and Next Steps

July 8 marks an important milestone for the Axone ecosystem with the successful launch of our mainnet. We are proud to reach this crucial step in the development of our protocol.

All participants in the various programs and our investors have received their tokens in their wallets. In accordance with our tokenomics, all tokens are currently subject to cliff and vesting periods (details below). It’s important to note that, even with these time restrictions, you can already stake your tokens and actively contribute to the security of the network.

Note: Allocations for the Zealy campaign and Community Discord have not yet been distributed (more information below).

What happens now?

Delegation Program Result for Cohort #1 + Delegation from Association

The results for the 1st Epoch will be announced soon.

• Results announcement: End of July
• Delegation deployment: Early August

As a reminder, 30 validators have been selected for this first EPOCH.

Other delegation from the association

With over 200 applications for the Delegation Program, we are aware that the allocations will have a significant impact on the active set.

To ensure maximum fairness and balance in building the validator set, the association also plans to delegate tokens outside the delegation program via different campaigns running in parallel with the Delegation Program, for validators who have supported us for a long time and those who have been the most involved in recent months.

We are currently working on a comprehensive document to provide information about these various campaigns.

All information and details about the association’s delegations will be public and accessible to everyone.

What’s next?

Airdrop Finalization for Zealy and others

Some allocations, particularly those for Zealy Quests and the Ambassador Program, still require the deployment of specific smart contracts. A compensation bonus in tokens will be provided for the participants concerned.

Governance Forum

A community discussion space will be established to guide the evolution of the protocol.

Parameters adjustment

The first governance votes will allow some chain parameters to be adjusted.

Smart contract

The final smart contracts will be deployed to accelerate application development on Axone.

First Applications on Mainnet

The launch of the first internal projects and the arrival of the first teams will mark the beginning of the Axone application ecosystem.

IBC and Listing

The activation of the IBC module and the creation of the first liquidity pools for $AXONE token trading are important steps towards the protocol’s accessibility. No specific date has been set for these yet.
