Humanitarian Action at the 62nd Correctional Service Day, Bengkulu Prison Officers Participate in Blood Donation

Bengkulu — In commemoration of the 62nd Correctional Service Day (HBP) in 2026, the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjenpas) Bengkulu organized a blood donation activity involving civil servants within the correctional environment. The event took place at the Ditjenpas Bengkulu Regional Office on Wednesday (April 8).

Carrying the theme “Correctional Services: Real Action, Excellent Service”, this blood donation initiative reflects the commitment of correctional officers to social responsibility, particularly in helping meet blood supply needs in the Bengkulu region.

Civil servants from Class IIA Bengkulu Correctional Institution actively participated in the activity. Their involvement demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting humanitarian programs organized by the regional office.

With great enthusiasm, Bengkulu Prison officers took part in all stages of the blood donation process as a tangible contribution to society. This participation also reflects the spirit of correctional service, which extends beyond institutional duties to creating real benefits for the public.

The Head of Class IIA Bengkulu Correctional Institution, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, stated that participation in this activity is part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to social engagement.
