Donald, you’re fired!
Just for fun, I decided to visit the 270towin website to see how I would fare in an election if I carried the states in which I’d seen a film at least partially set. The rules are:
- Has to be a film, not a novel or a TV series
- Some on-screen action has to happen in that state
- It doesn’t matter where the movie was actually filmed, only where the story took place
- Documentaries are allowed
I ran as a Democrat, partly because the current incumbent is a Republican and partly because my own political sympathies are closer to those of the Democratic party to those of the GOP.
As you can see, I won in an absolute landslide. In fact, bigger than either Reagan or Nixon ever did.
