My sister Payal, she is the person, I love the most on this planet!!!! She is my hope, my sunshine, the little spark that alway anchors my fire :) This poem is my gift to her on RakshaBandhan. This one is specially for her, and all of us finding their way in this world with all the chaos and rocking as hell!!!
नदियों की तरह तू बहती जाना, लहरों की तरह तू बहती जाना,
रोक न पाए कोई परंपराओं का बांध तुझे, हर रस्म हर रिवाज़ से ये कहती जाना। नदियों की तरह तू बहती जाना, लहरों की तरह तू बहती जाना ।
हर कहानी हर किस्से में तू है, मेरे दिल के हर हिस्से में तू है, वो स्वयं तू ही हैं कोई और नहीं, हर प्रश्न का ये उत्तर देती जाना।
नदियों की तरह तू बहती जाना, लहरों की तरह तू बहती जाना ।
समा न पाए हथेलियों में, अपना पाट बढ़ाती जाना, कोई पैमाना ना माप सके, भरी गगरी की तरह छलकती जाना।
हर पत्थर को उलांघना, हर पहाड़ को चीर जाना, न हारेगी वो जज़्बा तेरा, हर परिस्थिति को दिखाती जाना।
नदियों की तरह तू बहती जाना, लहरों की तरह तू बहती जाना।
