SUTIL was designed to promote respectful and sustainable forms of travel. During one year, give&grow, Burgas Creative Hub and Sende focused on activating coliving hubs and empowering people to create a positive local impact through responsible travel and civic engagement.
The project was developed with the aim of bridging the cultural and social divide between young nomads and local communities. To this end, we have worked with a number of external partners from the outset.
1. Kickoff meeting

It was an opportunity to share best practices, educational activities for youth coLiving spaces on how to strengthen local engagement between nomads and locals.
Associated partners during kickoff:
2. Travel Impact Guide

This Guide is not a theory but a practical tool — something to be adapted, tested, discussed, and brought into real-life community contexts. The Travel Impact Guide was developed through a process of collaboration, testing, and reflection between SUTIL partners and six Test-Hubs across Europe:
- Vundu, Víctor Sanz
- Picassa, Alejandra Sola
- Nine Coliving, Anne Kuppens
- Rooral, Juan Barbed
- Coconat Space, Julianne Becker
- Burgas Coliving, Katya Dimitrova
3. Impact Burgas workshop
[embed]
It was a central milestone for SUTIL project. Over five days, we brought together 15 young participants from across Bulgaria, and several local youth workers. The programme combined an introduction to coliving life, exploratory discussions, group activities, and encounters with local organisations.
Burgas Open Space was the local association that supports us in the implementation of the workshops, with Aleksandra Leonova as our incredible facilitator.
3.1 Multiplier workshops
Based on the collected knowledge, resources and methods, each organisation organised locally a workshop with young people on sustainable travel and community engament.
SUTIL toolkit
Designed for youth workers, trainers and managers of coliving spaces, the toolkit include:
Research on local contexts
Travel Impact Guide
Best practices
Educational methods collection
SUTIL responds by using coliving spaces as learning hubs to connect young nomadic travellers and local communities, providing the tools and education needed for meaningful, sustainable interaction.

Sutil Toolkit
The associations that are part of this consortium believe that co-living spaces have the perfect potential to promote inclusion and sustainable practices with a connection to youth. With SUTIL, we increased the capacity of some of these spaces to involve youth and local communities in their activities, by demonstrating the good practices of other spaces and sharing educational methods.
On the other hand, we trained young people in the field of sustainable tourism, stressing the importance of respecting the customs of the places where they intend to stay.
