The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match at King of Pro-Wrestling was chaotic to begin with, seeing an unmasked DOUKI react with rage and a Noh theater like appearance. A post match brawl at the hands of the defeated SHO and Yoshinobu Kanemaru ensued, but it was the returning Master Wato there to make the save and issue a major challenge.

Attaining a near life long dream of winning the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, Zack Sabre Jr didn’t slow down after his King of Pro-Wrestling victory. Instead, he promised a defence in the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom 19 and put his title on the line a mere six days after winning it on his return to London for Royal Quest IV, making his MVP claim for the month clear.
