Joe Theismann Delivers a Winning Message to a Packed House at YMCA of the Palm Beaches’ 16th Annual Prayer Breakfast

The YMCA of the Palm Beaches welcomed a capacity crowd of more than 350 attendees to its 16th Annual Prayer Breakfast, held last week at The Breakers Palm Beach. The event featured a keynote address by Super Bowl Champion quarterback Joe Theismann, along with exclusive meet and greet opportunities.

Joe Theismann is a former standout quarterback for the Washington Redskins, an entrepreneur, Emmy Award–winning NFL analyst, author, and dedicated philanthropist. In 2020, he released his book How to Be a Champion Every Day, a collection of personal stories and leadership insights, which he personally signed for select guests at the breakfast.

Theismann’s message served as a powerful reminder that championships are not defined by wins or losses, but by persistence, purpose, and a commitment to serving others. When talking about the importance of supporting the YMCA of the Palm Beaches’ mission, Theismann said, ”True success isn’t just about achievements, it’s about how we lift up and contribute to those around us, bringing our best every day for the good of others.”

All funds raised through the Annual Prayer Breakfast support the YMCA of the Palm Beaches’ mission to strengthen the community through programs that promote a healthy spirit, mind, and body. The organization is also currently engaged in an active Capital Campaign to build a new community center at Lake Lytal Park, scheduled to open in late 2026.
