On Tuesday, he posted a video on the social network Instagram, expressing his views on the Apple VR headset. He also claimed in the posted video that the Quest Three headset is superior.

After using the Apple VR headset, Zuckerberg stated, “Facebook’s Quest Three is even better than this.”

“I recently used the Apple VR headset,” he said in the video. “Before using it, I expected the Quest Three to be cheaper in terms of price. However, after using it, I found that not only is the price of the Quest Three reasonable, but it also excels in other features.”

Currently, the price of the Apple VR headset available only in the United States is $3,499 (approximately NPR 463,000). However, the price of the Quest Three is only $499.99 (approximately NPR 66,000).

Companies are developing mixed-reality headsets with their own designs and features. Zuckerberg praised the Quest Three for its excellence in its intended purpose of headset use. The weight of the Quest Three is 515 grams, while the weight of the VR headset ranges from 600 to 650 grams.

Zuckerberg argues that using the headset for an extended period is more comfortable due to its lighter weight. Therefore, he mentioned that the weight of the VR headset is about 120 grams heavier than the Quest Three, as stated in his comparison.

The Apple VR headset is equipped with a battery that is integrated into the headset itself, providing users with a better experience, Zuckerberg mentioned.

Furthermore, Zuckerberg claims that the Quest Three offers advanced hand control options, such as hand tracking and hand tracking input. However, the VR headset does not offer the convenience of controlling it through buttons.

Being a fan of the eye tracking feature in the VR headset, Zuckerberg anticipates the inclusion of the same feature in the upcoming Quest Pro. He also claims that the Quest Three surpasses the Apple VR headset in terms of content library.
