Reassurance’s Melody

“Music hath charms” by Cesare Maccari in 1876.

“Music hath charms” by Cesare Maccari in 1876.

There’s a girl called melody and she craves reassurance.

She makes a sweet sound when she’s happy but it lasts only for a second.

There’s a thing called reassurance.

It’s only made for girls like melody.

You tell her “I adore you” but trust me she will not believe you.

You must lavish her with affection.

Monday to Sunday.

Consistency like the days of the week.

Life is a state of constant repetition, like the theme in a song.

I will tell you everyday that you’re just the melody for me.
