You should start writing with AI, yes, really

Writing and publishing content is no longer as tedious as it used to be. Use it to your advantage.

Be honest. How many times did you think about starting your own blog?

I did way too many times. And the problem was always the same

I didn’t write because I didn’t want to spend a Sunday afternoon wrestling a half-formed idea into something coherent enough to publish.

Only for it to get 10 views, as it is when you are starting out.

But with AI, that has changed completely.

The bottleneck was never the ideas

I used to assume I wasn't posting because I didn't have enough to say. That’s rarely the actual problem.

The bottleneck is the gap between a thought and a finished piece. That gap used to be wide.

Gathering scattered notes, finding the right angle, rewriting the introduction four times, second-guessing whether anyone would care — that process is slow and draining. It's not anymore.

What actually changed

We still bring the raw material. The experience, the specific example, the opinion. That part always will be ours.

AI handles the assembly. Dump five bullet points or a voice note into an AI and get a structured first draft back in seconds. It’s not perfect —but it solves the blank canvas problem (as we call it in design).

From there, you can iterate, explore different angles, and see what works best for you.

My favorite workflow right now is simply using my voice as an input, rambling for a minute or two on the topic I wanna write about, then having AI structure it properly.

One post, five formats

A skill that all successful content creators have mastered is the ability to turn one post into 5–10 different formats. Ideally, even across different platforms.

A piece written for Medium doesn’t have to stay on Medium. It used to — because reformatting it for a different platform was tedious work we’d tell ourselves we’d do later, then never do.

Now that same post becomes a tweet in two minutes. Or a long-form X article. Or a thread. Or a TikTok script.

Each platform has its own format, its own rhythm. As always, you will need to tweak things manually, but the amount of boring work you need to do is much, much lower.

Use the opportunity now

The ideas are there. The stories are there. The lessons, the turning points, the things you've figured out after years of work — all of it already exists in your head.

The difference between sucesful content creators and the rest is just in putting it on paper.

But most of us couldn't do it consistently. Not because we were lazy. Because the return on time wasn’t there, and the friction was too high.

That friction is mostly gone now.

The people who figure that out first will have a significant head start — not because they’ll flood every platform with AI slop, but because they’ll finally get their actual thinking into the world, without it costing them their valuable time.
