Nickelodeon Expands Screens Up AR App With ‘Danger Things’ Interactive Event

You don’t need a hyperactive spacetime tear or magical portal to zap into a new dimension, because leading up to Halloween, Nickelodeon is bringing its signature Screens Up AR app to its hit show *Henry Danger in the “Stranger Things” inspired episode “Danger Things.”*

Nickelodeon launched the Screens Up app in July for Kids’ Choice Sports Awards, as one of the first extended screening experiences, integrating AR with television content, and now Nickelodeon is doing it again.

Stranger things will be happening in the Henry Danger Halloween episode “Danger Things,” from a swirling whirling portals, and a creepy creature from another dimension Kid Danger and Captain Man will be on a rescue mission the to save the day.

At home, viewers can get immersive by launching their Screens Up app and interact with an AR world filled floating animated jelly donuts, cotton candy and other “stranger things” to experience. There will be three specific AR moments taking place during the episode as well as live votes, polls, GIFS, trivia, and more.

Kids and parents can download the Screens Up app from the App Store and Google Play. Kids not using mobile devices can also play along at www.henrydangerplay.com.

Looking ahead, Nickelodeon, in collaboration with their tech partners Monterosa, The Mill, eyecandylab and We Are Royale will continue to explore further AR TV experiences and packing Screens Up with more AR fun.
