• Technology either harmonized or went violently haywire
• Ghostly images of Lanka Prime flickered in and out of existence

No miracles. No magic fixes.

But remembering.

The Veil became transparent. Those who sought connection saw opportunities. Those who sought control found their systems glitching, failing.

The Veil didn’t just become transparent — it became fragmented. Some could see Otherworlds clearly. Others saw nothing. Some saw terrifying distortions.

And in three locations worldwide, identical symbols burned into the ground: three interlocking circles with a fourth forming around them.

The Engine’s voice, fractured and glitching:

RESONANCE AMPLIFICATION… UNSTABLE… SECOND ANCHOR… LOCATION… BERLIN?… CAIRO?… TOKYO?… CONFLICTING DATA… THIRD ANCHOR… NO DATA… WARNING… SILENT WATCHERS… AWAKENING…

Kaelan’s Heir stared at his control panels as they reconfigured themselves. “What have you done?”

“Given the music back to the musicians,” Elara said.

Outside, dawn broke — but the light seemed to sing. Colors were brighter. The air tasted cleaner.

And in the distance, the ghost of Lanka Prime shimmered: not as a city to be rebuilt, but as a memory of what’s possible when technology serves resonance instead of dominating it.
