My Superstar Daughter is Coming to Visit!
My firstborn, Hannah, and her wonderful partner, Steven, are flying in from Paris tonight, courtesy of Lasalle College, the school where they learned their trade.
The college is celebrating its 65th anniversary and wants to tout its success stories. How cool that the fashion duo Les Matieres Fécales is part of that?
Hannah is always organized — just like her mum! — and has her time booked to ensure all her loved ones have equal time to spend together in between their obligations. You may think they look weird, but they’re both kind souls who are intent on unity, not division.
I’m ‘booked’ to see a fashion show, their panel talk, and take in some mum-and-daughter time on Sunday.
It’s not a lot of time but better than nothing. These random opportunities are the main reason why I’m not moving to New Zealand!
