Sometimes, the greatest blessings come disguised in challenges. As an advocate mother, I’ve learned that redefining ‘normal’ isn’t just about accepting what’s different; it’s about embracing it. Every step of the way, the journey has shown me that what we once thought of as setbacks can become stepping stones to something more beautiful, more meaningful, and more empowering than we ever imagined.

Being a mom to a child who doesn’t fit into traditional molds has taught me the true meaning of resilience, patience, and unconditional love. Through the struggles, we’ve discovered strengths we didn’t know we had and a deeper connection to the world around us.

I often say, ‘Let us redefine normal together.’ I do not say this lightly. I know it is hard, and it takes time, but I know that it will be worth it for our children

What it means is advocating for not forcing our children to fit into a box . It’s about creating a world where every unique journey is celebrated, every story is valued, and every challenge becomes an opportunity for growth.

To all the mothers out there advocating for their children — your love is changing the world. You are redefining what it means to be strong, and your voice is more powerful than you know.
