Now in its expanded 2026 edition, the Future of Work Fund is accepting applications from nonprofits around the world. This initiative offers philanthropic grant funding and in-kind support to organizations helping youth navigate the transition to an AI-powered economy.

What the Fund Supports

The Future of Work Fund backs nonprofits that are building real solutions for career starters. These include:

• AI-powered career navigation tools
• Workforce preparation programs that combine AI fluency with human skills
• Systems-level interventions that expand access to opportunity

LinkedIn is especially focused on programs that serve young adults aged 18–24 who face barriers to employment — including those from low-income backgrounds or skilled through alternative routes.

Who Can Apply

To be eligible, organizations must be:

• Legally registered nonprofits, charities, or equivalent not-for-profit entities
• Able to receive philanthropic grant funding directly
• Based in any country (U.S. applicants must hold 501(c)(3) status)
• Focused on workforce development and economic inclusion
• Demonstrating a clear use of AI innovation in their approach For-profits.
