2025 Writing Stats

2025 was the first year that I’ve tracked my writing stats. It is also undoubtedly the most I have ever written in a year in my life. The source of this information? Me.

My writing stats for the year:

I wrote a total of 95, 441 words this year across 74 days. The average word count per day was 1289 words per day, with a maximum of 5,000 words in a day and a minimum of 190 words.

All of these words are across many different projects that I cannot pinpoint at this time.

I wrote 10,000 words of draft 3 of Project Daughter that I shelved, then 10,000 words of draft 4, which is currently ongoing.

I wrote three completed short stories and many, many applications for many things, which count towards the word count because I say so.

I hope to beat this word count in 2026. I have already beat the MAXIMUM word count for 2025 by January 13 2025, so the trend is ongoing.

I am going to sleep now, having closed off all the data I wanted to put out in 2025. May 2026 be better than 2025 in every way.
