THE MASTER’S WHIP — LIBERATION DAY: TAMING ANTISEMITISM — “I GIVE YOU LONG-TIME”

In Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket, the Saigon prostitute’s “I Give You Long-Time” captures the raw pragmatism of survival. Her loyalty is transactional, her service, impartial. She kneels for neither ideology nor flag, only survival.

The prostitute’s metaphor lingers in geopolitics, where nations contort to appease hidden masters but with higher stakes. Economic subjugation, masked as policy, either inspires nations into compliance or drives them to ruin.

During Obama’s presidency, Malaysia basked in U.S. patronage, with Najib taking the metaphor to the hilt, hosting the president three times in as many years. But Malaysia exposed her hypocrisy: denouncing Israel while courting her puppet, America. The prostitute, at least, owned her duality.

Trump’s Liberation Day is scripted in Tel Aviv, and Israel, heir to Rothschild’s financial empire, flexes her power through U.S. economic levers. Trump is a mere executor, dog-whistling nations to give their antisemitism a rest.

Dependent on U.S. dollars, Malaysia is reaping what she sowed as her exports are squeezed. Even Singapore, ambiguous on the Israel-Gaza clashes, is feeling the pressure, with her prime minister cautioning that her economic survival demands fealty to unseen architects. Meanwhile, Cambodia and Vietnam, compliant and neutral, are silently negotiating exemptions without drama.

While the Najib-Obama bromance favoured Malaysia back in the day, Anwar’s defiant rhetoric against the Jewish state teeters between his ideological posturing and the unspooling reality of Malaysia’s economy.

The Saigon prostitute’s teaching moment is that only fools bite the master. Survival hinges on knowing your role. Nations aren’t the ‘clients’ they want to be but mere ‘service providers’ they are, kneeling neither for ideology nor flag, only survival. The other lesson is that antisemitism is a luxury only for the suicidal, and Trump’s Liberation Day is taming this nuisance with his master’s whip, Israel.

Postscript: The once-vocal pro-Palestinian bloc, those who cheered Hamas’s “resistance”, is strangely silent, leaving Israel to dismantle Gaza’s militants unimpeded. It’s business as usual for the Jewish nation while her economic coercion strangling her ‘enemies’ is in flux.
