How to install kali linux in VMware workstation

first go to kali.org and select virtual machines

choose the second option

In this virtual machines section select the first vmware file and download it

VMware file which is shown first

After downloading it we will get a zip file probably named something like this- kali-linux-2026.1-vmware-amd64.7z ,we need to extract the file .

make sure you have VMware on your device, if not install it from here — https://www.techspot.com/downloads/189-vmware-workstation-for-windows.html

Then open our vmware and select open virtual machine

and select the file which we have extracted

open it and run the kali os

after opening the kali linux the default username is kali and password is kali
