No foul on Lebron, Lakers lose in OT!

The Lakers travelled to Boston to play the Celtics on the 28 of January. This match was a must win for the Lakers as they are try to make the play-offs. Celtics are currently the first seed in the east, while the Lakers are the 13th seed in the West.

Superhuman James

Lebron James’ longevity is superhuman. Currently playing his 20th season, he is still the Lakers main man and has been selected to his 19th All-star game. Undoubtedly, he will break the record for most points in a regular season this year, solidifying himself as the greatest to over do it on the court.

Despite the mismatch, Lakers played great offense and Lebron James finished the game with 41 points. With only 4.1 seconds remaining of the 4th quarter, Lebron James went for a layup only to get fouled. The refs claim they missed it despite it being a clear foul with the game tied. This blunder by the refs led to the Lakers losing in OT and getting robbed out of a win.

Referee mistakes aren’t uncommon in the NBA. Just as AD proposed, refs should be fined for bad calls. This way, there will be less bad calls and players won’t have to blame the refs so often.
