Is Pence Running in 2028? Of Course He Is.

Hey guys, there are 312 days until the 2026 mid-terms and 313 days until the 2028 Presidential campaign begins.

And if Mike Pence isn’t getting ready to declare himself to be a Presidential candidate for the GOP, there ain’t a cow in Texas, or maybe New York’s only a city, not jungle, okay?

First of all, anyone who thinks that Mike Pence would have trouble squashing J.D. Vance into a little ball of throwaway guck hasn’t bothered to take a look at Mike Pence’s career.

This is a guy who ran for Congress when he was too young and too inexperienced and lost twice. When he won a House seat in 2000, he ran five more times and won every time.

He then served four years as Governor of Indiana and was the VP for four years under Trump and had the smarts and independence to move away from the orange mophead after January 6, 2021.

In other words, this is a guy who knows how to survive in the political marketplace and the news that his so-called advocacy platform called Advancing American Freedom (AAF) has just added fifteen staffers who quit the Heritage Foundation because they don’t like how Heritage has become a patsy for Donald Trump and his MAGA gang tells me that Pence is beginning to get ready for 2028.

By the way, I love how the media refers to the Heritage Foundation as a ‘think tank.’ My cat, Leonard Savetsky-Mermelstein,

engages in more thoughts on a daily basis than the total thinking that takes place at the Heritage Foundation every day.

After all, Leonard has to think about whether he wants to sit on my lap or my wife’s lap in the morning. He also has to think about whether he wants to eat some cat food or some leftover food that we brought back from the restaurant where we ate dinner last night.

These are important decisions which Leonard has to make every day.

Know what they think about at the Heritage Foundation and those other right-wing gab fests? They get around the water cooler and decide who is going to send out the fax messages they receive every day from the Republican National Committee (RNC) which they claim represents their own ‘research.’

The RNC has been creating and distributing these ‘talking points’ since Rush Limbaugh first asked them to help him come up with a script every day for his radio show.

Meanwhile, Pence has now put together a team on his AAF website which will become a campaign organization the second he pushes the ‘go’ button sometime after the mid-terms next year.

And by the way, the Board of his AAF group is comprised of seven white men. That’s the giveaway right there.

Yea, yea, I know all about J. D. Vance and how he’s going to be the GOP’s racehorse in 2028.

Vance is such a dipshit that when Nice Fuentes stopped talking about the Holocaust never happening and took a racist shot at Vance’s wife who happens to come from a Muslim family, the Vice President made a point of telling Fuentes to stick it up his ass, but at the same time he made sure to slam Jen Psaki for a funny comment she made about Usha Vance back in October which wasn’t a racist statement at all.

But Vance wasn’t about to criticize a former dinner guest at Mar-a-Lago for making a racist remark without making sure that both sides shared the blame.

As I said above, Vance is a real dipshit and by the time he stops defending Donald Trump for killing more than one hundred Venezuelans floating around the Gulf of America in their fishing boats, everybody will really be sick of him.

The 2028 election is now less than three years away, but the mid-terms are going to be held in just 315 days.

Meanwhile, I don’t notice anyone on our side doing the kind of spade work that Pence is doing for the other side.
