Tiernan loves carrying little suitcases around. He might think he’s going somewhere. He’s not. So when I saw this little tin tea set in a pretty suitcase, I bought it with him in mind.
And guess what? On Christmas morning, surrounded with whiz bang electric toys, he chose the little tea set to play with. Little darling. I also picked up an old-fashioned kaleidoscope and a tin jack-in-the-box, all at Aldi for $9.99. Bargain!
He has another favourite toy. It’s a wooden box with many different types of switches turning on different types of lights. He’s had a fascination for light switches since he was a little baby. On-off-on-off-on-off. The same goes for light and fan remote controls. I don’t honestly know why we bother with toys.
