I Never Pictured THIS!
The pictures on the walls assail me. I feel them scream at me, “You know! You failed ME!
I cry and speak to them — Talk back with vigor and vim. They are there, but never here, Even though they’re always near.
And I move on in life with only Pictures that scream And leave me lonely.
