Day 2 — Excel Dashboards, Pivots, and Data Visualization
📅 19 October 2025
After learning the basics of Excel functions and data cleaning, I moved on to more advanced and visual aspects of Excel. This session helped me see how data can be transformed into clear, visual insights using charts and dashboards.
🧩 Topics Covered
1. Pivot Tables Learned to summarize and group data dynamically for faster analysis.
2. Data Analysis in Excel Used pivot tables and built-in formulas to identify trends and patterns in data.
3. Data Visualization Created different types of charts — Column, Line, Pie, Bar, Area, and Scatter Plots — to represent information visually.
4. Working With Multiple Worksheets Practiced linking and referencing data between multiple sheets for connected analysis.
5. Dashboard Creation During the weekdays, I practiced all these skills and created my own Excel dashboard, combining functions, charts, and pivot tables.
💭 Reflection
This phase helped me see how Excel can tell stories through visuals. Creating a dashboard felt like bringing the data to life — from raw numbers to a meaningful, interactive summary.
