Sometimes the solution isn't working harder. It's sharpening yourself first.

Have you ever noticed something interesting?

When a friend comes to you with a problem, you can often give them advice within minutes. You know exactly what they should do.

But when you're facing your own problems, your mind feels confused. You overthink every option and struggle to find the answer.

Why does this happen?

The reason is surprisingly simple.

When it's someone else's problem, you are emotionally detached. Your mind is calm, so you can think clearly. You're not afraid of making the wrong decision, so bold solutions come naturally.

But when the problem is your own, emotions take over. Fear, doubt, and attachment make it difficult to see the obvious answer.

A peaceful mind always thinks better than an anxious one.

Let me share a famous story about two woodcutters. You might have heard it, but not with this perspective.

Every day, both of the woodcutters worked for the same number of hours. They started at the same time, took the same lunch break, and went home together.

Yet at the end of every month, one woodcutter always had a much larger pile of wood. And the other one couldn't understand why my efforts are not that fruitful.

One day he finally asked the first woodcutter, "We work for the same hours. We are of same age.

What are you doing differently?

The first woodcutter smiled and replied, "During our lunch break, I spend just five minutes sharpening my axe."

That small habit made all the difference.

A sharp axe cuts wood faster, requires less effort, and saves energy.

Life works the same way.

Most of us spend our entire day solving problems, meeting deadlines, worrying about the future, and dealing with difficult people.

By the end of the day, our minds feel exhausted. And we forget to sharpen our inner axe, which is our MIND; that’s why instead of appreciating what we have, we slowly slip into complaining about everything that’s missing in our life. Happens, right?

So you might be thinking, 'So how can we do it in the middle of the day? We can’t do meditation, right? 'Don't worry, I'm not talking about it…

So I'm sharing my way of sharpening my inner axe, which is the simplest way to do that: expressing gratitude for little things & feeling blessed for a moment. How?

Suppose you are at your home and you are busy with your work and your sibling offers you a snack or your mother cooks tasty food for you. Here you can feel blessed you have so many lovely people around you who care for you.

For for a moment when you acknowlge by saying thank you in your head or to them.

You’re reminding your mind that life is already full of blessings.

Here I'm not asking you to find something extraordinary but the ordinary things which we usually take for granted.

By doing this pratice for thoughout the day you will sharpen you mind and also strengthening your faith in higher power.

And slowly, your perspective begins to change.

Think of gratitude as sharpening your inner axe.

Gratitude Doesn't Need Special Time. You don't need to sit for an hour or perform a complicated ritual.

Just notice the small moments.

Walk into an air-conditioned room after being outside in the heat. "Thank You, God."

Take a sip of clean water at your place. "Thank You, God."

Enjoy a warm meal when you're hungry. "Thank You, God."

Someone speaks kindly to you. "Thank You, God."

You wake up healthy. "Thank You, God."

These tiny moments may seem ordinary, but together they create a powerful habit.

You're building faith every day… The stronger your faith becomes, the easier it is to handle obstacles.

The problems may not disappear overnight, but you'll start facing them with more clarity, more patience, and less fear.

Instead of feeling stuck, you'll notice solutions much faster.

Small moments of gratitude may not seem life-changing in the beginning.

But just like a sharpened axe transforms a woodcutter's work, a grateful heart can transform the way you experience life.

Sometimes, the greatest strength doesn't come from working harder. It comes from taking a moment to sharpen your faith first.

I hope my words stayed with you long after you finished reading. If it does, kindly RESHARE IT so that it helps more people discover these words.

Thank you for being here… Sending peace & happiness your way!!
