Creating my path

Over the course of this module, I will explore all my options to fully learn what I do and don’t like as a designer. This will help me further pursue the correct Design Specialism.

From completing the Creative Type test, I have learnt I am a Dreamer. I go about my life infusing situations with my imagination. I struggle with tasks that I see no potential in or I struggle to see that potential.

I am ready to learn about all the design specialisms that are available to me. In my first thoughts, I believe my top 3 will be Advertising, Editorial Design and Infographic Design from my previous experiences. However, without testing the waters of every design specialism I will not be able to say that my chosen design specialism is the right one for me.

Before joining Coventry University to study Graphic Design, I had no previous experiences and the closest I got to graphic design is product design. Although, I have quickly fell in love with Graphic Design and enjoy studying every minute of it. I am looking forward creating my path in Graphic Design and I am excited to see where it takes me!
