Are You Buried by Your Problems or Planted for Something?
You’re not buried, you’re planted — Like seeds in the earth, waiting to sprout.

I often see people around me, both in real life and on social media, their laughter ringing out like bells, their smiles bright as sunshine. And I wonder, how are they so happy? What do they have that I lack, which leaves me feeling hollow and gray? How do they find joy in the simple things, while I’m stuck in a fog of worry and fear?
Recently, I came across a social media influencer who revealed that she has countless problems, so many that just hearing about them could make an ordinary person feel overwhelmed. Yet, And yet, there are others, too, people who face struggles, but still manage to keep their voices warm and their hearts open. It made me wonder: if their burdens are as heavy as mine or even heavier, then how do they carry them with such grace? How do they radiate kindness, instead of letting their pain seep into everything?
After sitting with these thoughts, I realized something.
They simply refuse to let their problems be the authors of their story.
- They acknowledge their pain, but they don’t let it define them. Of course, they have struggles, just like anyone else, but what sets them apart is how they emerge from their hardships, not withered, but blooming.
- They face their pain like an old friend, familiar with its shape, instead of running from it like a shadow they fear.
- Even when the solution feels far away, they don’t let their challenges block out all the light in their lives.
- When they feel buried under the weight of their problems, they choose to see it differently. They’re not buried, they’re planted. Seeds in the earth, waiting to sprout.
- They know that time is like a river, always moving, whether it carries joy or sorrow. We can’t stop it or outrun it, so instead of fighting, they let these moments wash over them, learning from each one and growing stronger with time.
- When they face a problem, they don’t just glance at it and move on. They dive deep, seeking out the tangled roots, their hands getting dirty as they work through the knots. And once they’ve worked their way through, they use that hard-won knowledge like a lantern, guiding others who are still struggling to find their way.
- They don’t let the weight of their problems drag them down; instead, they stack them like stepping stones, lifting themselves higher. They stand on top of their challenges, faces turned toward the sun, hearts open wide. That’s the side of themselves they share with the world — the one that shines.
- They have a mindset that lets them find joy, even in the smallest moments. It’s like they’ve got special lenses that show them the beauty in a raindrop or the music in the rustling leaves, even when the sky is dark with storms.
And now, I’m starting to walk this path too. I won’t let my problems be the author of my story anymore. Time will pass, no matter what — whether it’s filled with thorns or roses. So why not make it a story worth telling? A journey that transforms me and lights the way for others too.
So here’s my invitation to you: take a moment right now to reflect on a challenge you’re facing. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine this problem as a seed planted within you. What kind of growth could it lead to? What strength might it reveal? What wisdom might you gain that could help others?
When you’re ready, open your eyes and share your thoughts in the comments below.
Let’s create a garden of resilience together. A place where our shared experiences can bloom into hope and inspiration for all who visit. Remember, your story of overcoming might be the very light someone else needs to find their way. Will you join me on this journey of growth and resilience?
