The failed arguments of modern left ideology.

Ok so what is failed arguments ? I am describing what the scholar call an ideological self-contradiction or a blind spot.

My point is for example in India or any other western country. when left treats the “Ghoonghat” or traditional conservative practices of the majority as a symbol of oppression, but rebrands the “hijab” in the west or india as a symbol of “empowerment” or “choice”. it loses its intellectual consistency.

This contradiction reveals why many critics argue that left`s arguments often failed under their own weight.

Prioritizing identity over individual rights. Traditional liberalism was built on defending of the individual against any oppressive system — whether that system was a king , a corporation , or a religion.

But modern leftism often priorities group of identity over the individual. in their view, if a religion group classified as a “minority” in western country, the groups right to maintain its traditional customs becomes more important to protect than the individual womans right to be free from patriarchal control within that group.

The rise of selective activism. when activism becomes selective, it ceases to be about human`s rights and instead becomes about identity branding. it ignores the suffering of women in kabul or tehran simply because speaking out doesn’t fit a specific, left localized western or political narrative. This selectivity is what damages the credibility of genuine social movements, making everyday people cynical about the very concept of human rights.
