So Glad
There for each other, in the best times, in the worst times. So many times you silently held my hand. No words. Not every struggle, but so many of the important ones, you were in my life. We took care of each other, off and on. Or so it seemed. When I look back. Look back today. There was so much. Sharing a house, sharing illness, sharing joy, saying hello to new births and watching lives fade. These are the years we did and do share. We loved dogs, cats, and people. Of course, of course, we loved each other. You are wiser now, and you comfort me more than when we were younger. The years are passing, and I have missed you. I am so glad I found you again.
