Funneling Your Book

As a way to grow your audience

Are you considering self-publishing a book? Perhaps a collection of poems or short stories, or your Great American (or otherwise) Novel?

As I’ve researched the various pitfalls of traditional and self-publishing, I’ve discovered Book Funnel, which is a great way to grow your mailing list — a key to promoting your titles, especially if you’re self-publishing.

In addition to creating your own landing pages for books and gathering lists that way, you’re able to co-promote with like titles, in the same genre, using both excerpts and short works, as well as longer titles.

Here are two promotions I’m participating in right now.

The first one is an excerpt from my book, A King’s Lot — as of now, I’m expecting to publish it with a publisher, but all the way in distant 2029 , and so I’m still considering whether I should settle for that date or self-publish earlier.

The second one is a full copy of my short story, That Kind of Funeral, which recently placed 1st on Amazon for 30 minute thriller/mysteries.
