He has been working in different countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East bringing positive changes in the lives of marginalized and vulnerable people, and would like to build my career in the same field. He has a special interest and expertise in the interdisciplinary areas of water, health, energy, environment, and climate.

He has an engineering background (from Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering) and a master's from Oxford University, UK in the field of Policy and Management (Water and Energy). He aspires to transform desk-based policy in the field pragmatically directly impacting the lives of people on the ground.

With all these backgrounds, He got an opportunity to work in various countries with different responsibilities. He started working as a researcher where He has published a few high-impact peer-reviewed papers and subsequently started working with the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources of Nepal government as a project engineer in one of the biggest hydropower projects.

After graduating from Oxford, He started working with ICSHP/UNIDO, China’s first international organization under the auspices of the Chinese Ministry of Water Resources, Chinese Ministry of Commerce, and UNIDO, Austria. We as a group have done a global policy assessment of green hydropower and published a peer-reviewed paper out of this work. We were able to set up the first ISO standard for small hydropower

(below 50 MW) and also executed various Belt and Road Projects.

Simple policy assessments and desk-based work are not what makes me eternally happy. He always looks forward to where my work would have a direct big and positive impact on the left-out communities at both local and global scales. Hence, He is in the expert group ICRC (Red Cross — Global Expert Pool) and Doctor Without Borders — Switzerland (Global Expert Pool) through which He can be deployed in any country based on the institutions and individual needs. He has worked in Sudan managing Water and Sanitation activities for the Ethiopian refugees who arrive instantaneously from anywhere. Following this, He went to Kyrgyzstan which was the pilot country for Climate Action, where He led different action-oriented climate change mitigation and adaptation activities — among them one was a climate-friendly waste management model which we shared with different international partners including World Bank, ICRC, UN and GIZ among others.
