AC -> Artificial Capability

Columbus discovered America instead of India. People wanted to discover AI → Artificial Intelligence, but discovered something different… let’s call it AC → Artificial Capability.

How is this different? Well, Yann LeCun is right in saying a cat is smarter than the largest AI models today. So, what do we have instead of AI → true Intelligence? Huge piles of “taped thoughts” that are served to us as very sophisticated collages. If you ask some language model “To Be or Not to Be?” it will answer you… with your (and other people’s) words. AI does not have its own answer. And it may be actually optimal, in my opinion.

It may be that we in fact discovered something very useful, AC — Artificial Capability, which is much more controllable than Artificial Intelligence. Good!
