In less than 3 years, Sudanese biochem student, Anok Yai, became one of the most in demand models in recent history. She’s booked some of the most prestigious shows (Prada, Tom Ford), ad campaigns (Estee Lauder, Puma, Tom Ford eyewear) & magazine covers (Vogue Italia, British Vogue).
I fell in love with Anok after watching Vogue World’s video of a day in her life at NYFW. She shared her fully loaded schedule & talked about her life w/ refreshing candor & a dry sense of humor as she rode around in an SUV from sunup to well past sundown. The clip is a good one to get some unscripted insight into what it’s actually like to be at the top of the modeling heap.
