Architecture & AI: The Unveiled Confusion
Why Only Humans Can Still Build Tomorrow
This bookwasn’t written to resist AI, itwaswritten because a confusion is quietle unfolding.
A confusion between what architecture is and what image-generation systems seem to produce. A confusion between vision and understanding, between form and decision, between output and judgment.
Artificial Intelligence now generates, facades, cities, even fllorplans. It suggests, it imitates, it decorates.
But it doesn’t read, it doesn’t observe a site, it doesn’t recognize structural silence, tension, or memory.
It doesn’t prioritize it arranges;
- AI produces forms from the already seen — which means: the past.
- Humans build meanings from the past to shape the best possible future.
- It’s not about resemblance. It’s about projection.
Architecture has never been the sum of its forms, it is a spatial position, taken under constraints, it’s a balance born from conflict, site, use, and will. And in that equation, humain consciousness still holds the key.
This book explores a frontier as a complete response:
- Not between machine and architect
- But betweensimulation and architecture.
I don’t fear AI., i work with it, but i know what it fails to see
- “And i write to protect what it cannot imitate”
- Only humains can still build tomorrow.
- And not for technical reasons, but because meaning requires reading.
