Apple Vision Pro can transport you out of a small, distracting room andinto a expansive outdoors with a flick of a dial. These immersive environments are ideal for escaping — specifically Mount Hood and the Moon.

But here’s the caveat. Bora Bora is perfect for relaxing — but I’d ratherunplug, not peck at a keyboard, when I’m at the beach. Next, I’d like to see Apple extend to busier environments such as coffee shops and libraries.

Imagine transforming your bland, distracting environment into the Rose Main Reading Room at the New York Public Library. Having a roughtime focusing and getting work done? Turn the Digital Crown, and,boom, you’re in NASA’s Mission Control Room in Houston.

Work in a vacuum and in desperate need of a boost? Perhaps it couldbe particularly beneficial to move your work to the Café de Flore in Paris, France. Concentrate with background hum of humanssurrounding? Set up in Tokyo’s Akihabara District.

They could make bland office environments exciting environments. Nothing beats actually being in these places, but spatial computing could provide a library or coffee shop’s productivity when you can’t actually go.

Many apps have environments such as these, but system environments enable you to stay in them even when switching between a variety of programs.
