Digital Writing Practicum offers AUP students a once in a lifetime opportunity to develop professional digital writing skills.

Paris, November 24, 2023- The American University of Paris (AUP) is proud to announce the offering of its highly anticipated Digital Writing Practicum class, providing prospective students with an exciting opportunity to sharpen and perfect their professional writing skills in the ever-evolving digital age.

In today’s digital world, flawless writing skills have never been more important. AUP students need to stand out from the crowd and showcase their power to communicate effectively across any online platforms. This class addresses these needs by arming AUP students with the skill set, tools and techniques to excel in the world of digital writing.

The practicum is instructed by Bryan Pirolli, a professor loved by many and a professional who has been in the field for years. Pirolli’s curriculum is designed to enrich students’ knowledge and understanding of the digital writing spheres. The curriculum covers various topics such as blog writing, content creation, branding, and journalistic writing.

Unlike traditional writing classes, the practicum places special emphasis on hands-on experience. Its newsroom setting, assignments, and focus on detail give its students an experience that mimics what it’s like to be an actual journalist. By taking this class, students will develop their writing skills, build an impressive portfolio, and gain practical skills that will set them apart in the job market.

The practicum is open to all AUP students, regardless of their major or class standing. The course will be offered during the fall semester only, and the class will be held once a week on Mondays at 3:30 PM.
